We had a full field of 25 players come out to play in the 7th Event of our Seacoast Christian GC season. We got to experience great golf weather, with a little cloud cover for the first 9 holes, then a sunny sunshine day in the 80s…what a great day of golf.
Welcome ! A big welcome to Dave Ednoff who came out to play with our group for the first time this year.

Flight “A” Low Gross Winner: Ebin Smith (79)

Great Scoring – Our tournament committee likes to acknowledge those players who show their great skills at posting low scores and accuracy in managing their games.
Note: The Tournament team at Twin Oaks GC apologies for not getting out the “long drive” competition marker pins for the front nine. Players noticed the additional hole #12 that as added.
Recap Event 7– With seven events in the books, we are now into our summer season and all points earned will count towards our end of year “playoff match play season” which begins in August. Our leader board is still headed up by Kent Coykendall who has kept his golf vision on keeping his game intack to take hold of the “Seacoast Cup” this year. Ebin Smith showcased his “A” game and posted a low gross 79 score. Both Rik Thisle and John Riggs also proved they can keep scores low and pulled out a low net score of 68! Way to go guys ! Our regular cast of golf characters who have positioned themselves into the top 20 are now shaping up their golf skills as they all know when it comes to the playoffs, they must have their “A” game. The Seacoast Christian GC golf season is now fully underway and a great finish is shaping up…so get to the range and bring it on to the next event!
Next Event – Friday, August 9, 2019 – Steele Canyon GC / 7:30a start 27 holes
This next event will start to shape up our “Playoff Season” starting late August 2019. Players are now positioning themselves on the leader board to get into the top 20. The next event will be the last of our Major events where points are double in value.
NOTE:
There is a change in venue that is listed below, as the Morgan Run CC venue would not be ready for our event. They reported some major greens and fairway issues that they are undergoing this Summer. We will now be playing at Steele Canyon GC for the August 9, 2019 Major event.
