We had a full field of 32 players come out to play in the 6th Event of our Seacoast Christian GC season. The weather was picture perfect as temperatures warmed up to the mid 70s to low 80s. No issues with wind today as all the players would attest that we have the best golf weather in town.
A big welcome to the following players who came out for their first time this year: Michael Gibbs, Jim Freitas, Ric MacKenzi, Bill Buchanan, Kyle Utne and Randy Blister.

Great Scoring – Our tournament committee likes to acknowledge those players who show their great skills at posting low scores and accuracy in managing their games.
Recap Event 6 – With six events in the books, we are now into our summer season and all points earned will count towards our end of year “playoff match play season” which begins in August. Our leader board is still headed up by Kent Coykendall who has a renewed mission to take hold of the “Seacoast Cup” this year. Ted Clinite showcased his “A” game and posted a low gross/ low net score. He is just as focused as Kent to reclaim the treasured Seacoast Cup trophy. Other players like Ken Gunn, who is new to our competition, put his “A” game into gear and posted a low net score also. Our regular cast of golf characters who have positioned themselves into the top 20 are now shaping up their golf skills as they all know when it comes to the playoffs, they must have their “A” game. The Seacoast Christian GC golf season is now fully underway and a great finish is shaping up…so get to the range and bring it on to the next event!
Next Event – Friday, July 19, 2019 – Twin OaksGC / 7:30a start Green Fee: $50
This next event will start to shape up our “Playoff Season” starting in August 2019. Players are now positioning themselves on the leader board to get into the top 20. There are several more opportunities to score monthly regular season points and also take advantage of big points during our 2nd Major event of the year in August.
Our next event at Twin Oaks GC always demands our player’s best golf skills. Those players who play well will gain the needed points towards their playoff hopes.
