News and Results – Event 2 The Rancho Bernardo Inn Resort, San Diego, California
Today we had the threat of rain..but as it turned out, this day ended up to be the best day of the week. Rain fell all week up until our group arrived for their tee times. The weather man’s precise weather prediction ended up “spot on” when it was forecasted a clear day with no rain!!
Of course it was “cart paths only” and our players did have to institute the “lift, clean, and place” rule We had a strong field of players, but even those who have proven to have “A” game swings, found out that this course can get the best of you. A few players did showcase their great course management skills and posted low scores.
Welcome to our club: A few new faces joined in our fun today…..Steve Anderson, Ken Gunn…and welcome back Scott Jordan, who is visiting So Cal after moving away to the Pacific Northwest .

Recap Event 2 – With two events in the books, we have a few players who have asserted themselves by showing they mean business this season. Our leader board is headed up by Ryan Alexander who brought his “A” game again and racked up enough points to stay ahead of Ted Clinite who is on the prowl in 2nd place. Richard Mulligan managed his course management skills and took matters in his own hands, and played very steady golf to earn LOW NET honors. This effort helped Richard Mulligan jump from 23rd spot to now #3 spot…way to go ! With the course being all wet, players needed to adjust their games to dig out whatever they could to post a decent score. The Seacoast Christian GC golf season is now underway…so get to the range and bring it on to the next event!
