Event 15 – Results – Friday, December 9 – Barona Creek GC – Winter Event
Welcome to the 15th and final event of our 2016 golf season ! We’ve had memories of this event having issues in past years from total rain out, to frost freeze. Today, we were graced with a perfect day of golf, as the weather held nicely, and the golf course was in great condition. The golf pro and superintendent warned the players that the greens were running very fast at a 12 on the stimpmeter. Today, many players felt the pain of the 3 putt as the ball rolled as if it were on concrete today.
Congratulations to our pin winners and skin winners. The tournament committee recorded $165 in the pot for today’s special winter event. With this, each pin and skin would be worth $5. Players who finished in the top 3 in gross scoring in their respective flight would earn $15 (1st) / $10 (2nd) / $5 (3rd) placing. $15 would be awarded to the top Net placing finisher. Our 2017 Calendar of events are posted below. Please plan ahead and make sure you can make it to start adding up points so you can be in the Playoffs starting September 2017.
Next Event will be on Friday, January 6, 2017. Our first tour stop of the season will be at Encinitas Ranch GC. Cost is $68 /player. First Tee time begins at 7:00a.
