News and Results – Event 14 “President’s Cup – Lunch of Champions Meeting” – Encinitas Ranch GC
Today we crowned our new 2017 Seacoast Cup Champion – Curtis Chan who had a hard match and overcame a tough lead to beat Nick Pavle, 1UP on the final hole. Congratulations Curtis Chan. To read about the 2017 Championship Match Finals click on the following link: 2017 Championship Finals
The 2017 Cup was passed on by our 2016 Champion, Ebin Smith, to Curtis at our Annual President’s Cup Lunch Awards Meeting.
The day began with a field of 22 players who got up early to enjoy donuts at the starter’s booth. Those who went out early were blessed by a dazzling “sunrise rainbow” which hovered over the course.

The acknowledgments of our 2017 Seacoast Cup Winners was a fun time with laughs and recounting unforgettable golf course memories. Our field of players squared off in many card off formats, but in the end the “Red” team reigned supreme and ended up with bragging rights for the 2017 Seacoast President’s Cup. It was their superiority in winning just about all the pin compeititons (long drive and par 3’s) that catapult their scores to win. In the end, all the guys had a great time. Prizes were awarded to our winners ranging from free rounds of golf, to golf clubs, range finder, and clothing accessories. Everyone felt like a winner today !

We had a great 2017 Season. All who are getting ready for our 2018 Season, below is are 2018 Season Calendar. Our last remaining event for the year is our “Winter Event” which will be on Friday, December 15, 2017 – Barona Creek GC. Cost is $64 per player which includes range and cart. To get this deal, players must come early and sign up in the pro shop for their “Player’s Card” which is an enticement to use their facilities (there is no obligation to do so).
