The Field / Tee Times and Pairings

A Great Way to end our Golf Season –  The threat of “Frost Freeze Delay” was forecasted earlier in the week, and on Friday, December 9, the air temps around Native Oaks GC dropped into the low 30’s causing a “Frost Freeze Delay.”   Our field of 25 players had to hold out in the clubhouse cafe’ for almost 2 hours before the golf superintendent deemed it safe for us to go out and play.  The early morning cold weather at the course turned out to be a beautiful perfect San Diego “Winter Golf” day.    Some players showcased their “Christmas Golf Attire” and for some it may have put some “Christmas Joy and Cheer” into their swing as several players put out their Christmas  “A” Game and took on the challenge of this most challenging course.

Today’s competition involved:  Low Gross (flighted) / Low Net / Low Net Skins / Longest Drive/ Closest to Pin / Scoring.  Players who desired to get into the $$ Prize pool contributed $5.00 each.    The tournament committee would tally up the results and pay out the following:

1st / 2nd / 3rd  Place Low Gross (per flight)

1st Place Low Net

Low Net Skins

Closest to Pins / Longest Drive Holes

Thanks to Curtis Chan and Ebin Smith for providing early morning Coffee / Donuts as we waited out the frost freeze delay.

A few players show cased their “Christmas Attire.”

CONGRATULATIONS !!!

Hole in One – “ACE”  for Paul Deveau on Hole #3 / 121 yards
